Transport around the island: From Friday 24th June to Saturday 2nd July inclusive, those with accreditation passes are entitled to free transport on all Southern Vectis bus routes. This is in addition to the transport provided from the accommodation sites to the sports venues. Timetables and route information is available at www.islandbuses.info

The island can be reached by ferry from Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington.

There are airports in Bournemouth, Southampton and on the outskirts of London at Heathrow and Gatwick.
Rail and road routes link from these airports to the ferry ports.
