Support from British Swimming
David Sparkes, the Chief Executive of British Swimming visited the Isle of Wight on
30th November 2009 to discuss progress with the swimming element of the 2011 NatWest
Island Games.
Following a tour of the pool and facilities proposed to be used in 2011, Mr. Sparkes expressed his complete satisfaction with the way in
which matters are progressing. He also offered additional training for
officials and volunteers preparing for the event.
