£2,000 Awarded by NatWest for Sports Development
The Executive of the International Island Games Association (IIGA) has awarded a total of £2,000 for the sports of Tennis, Cycling, Athletics, Football and Basketball under the NatWest Sports Development Programme.
NatWest have so far provided over £100,000 to help develop sport in Member Islands under the Sports Development Programme.
The Sports Organisers for the 2011 NatWest Island Games will use this money to improve training opportunities for the prospective team members who will represent the Isle of Wight in these sports in 2011.
