The IW County Press is running a full service online throughout the NatWest Island Games. There will be a daily live feed each day, highlighting the significant moments — from medals and records to injuries — of the week.

The paper is also running a web app, featuring the daily timetable and maps of sporting venues.

Media accreditation


Everyone involved in the NatWest Island Games XIV will be issued with an accreditation pass, which must be worn and fully visible during the Games. Please contact media@natwestislandgames2011.co.uk < to complete the form.

The accreditation pass gives eligibility to use the Games transport system, and admission to the opening and closing ceremonies. It also includes free internet access at key sites.

Island Games to Launch 'Get Involved' Campaign

The build up to the 2011 NatWest Island Games will officially begin this week with the launch of a ‘Get Involved’ campaign at Cowes Yacht Haven.

The Island Games Organising Committee will be joined by the Chairman of the International Island Games Committee, Jorgen Pettersson and double gold medal winning sailor Shirley Robertson for the event taking place on Thursday 19 March 2009. They will announce plans for the 2011 NatWest Island Games which will take place on the Isle of Wight.
