Football on the Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight Divisional Football Association was founded in 1898. This caters for all ages of boys and girls on the island.

Football is a very popular sport on the Isle of Wight with over 2,000 players registered to play with Saturday and Sunday Clubs, and that is not including the youth players.

There are 33 Saturday League clubs and 12 Sunday Clubs.

Also, 4 Isle of Wight clubs play on the mainland in a higher league.
