In March of the year before the NatWest Island Games there will be a series of relatively short seminars for all sports and designed for all who wish to be considered for selection for the team, plus coaches. This will give a general overview of the anti drug systems and an up to date awareness of the possible effects of substance abuse.

In March of the NatWest Games Year there will be compulsory seminars for the selected teams covering, in detail, anti doping procedures and an up to date review of the paperwork required in some cases, current substance issues and an overview of the procedures that the Host Island is likely to follow. These seminars will be on an interactive basis.

For the World Youth Games the compulsory attendance sessions referred to above will be run annually.

Seminar dates, times and venues will be available shortly on this site and will be notified also to Team Managers and Sports Coordinators.

Any enquiries about procedures, substances, paperwork or general advice needs should be processed through antidrugs@natwestislandgames2011.co.uk
