Overview

The cycling events for the NatWest Island Games will be held at various venues across the Isle of Wight. These are currently provisional venues.

• The Time Trial and Road Race events will capture the undulating roads on the South West of the Island
  
  
• The Mountain Bike Criterium will be in at Smallbrook Stadium
  
  
• The Mountain Bike Race will take place in the West part of the island alongside a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB ) where the views are stunning.
  
  
• The Road Criterium will be held in Ventnor in the South of the Island.

There are a number of established cycling clubs on the Isle of Wight catering for all ages and levels of cyclists. Members compete at junior, senior and veteran levels in a number of disciplines – Road Racing, Time Trials and Mountain Bike Events. There is also a keen Touring cycling community who do not compete, but enjoy the wonderful scenery the island has to offer.
